1.German WW2 army tropical greatcoat, as used by the "Afrika Korps". Well used, but solid example of this rare overcoat. Has had some alterations, repairs, etc, but is still very nice and diplayable. Wool color is the telltale tropical brown that is textbook for these. As far as alterations, the cuffs have been removed, the shoulder board buttons and loops are gone and the back has been sewn up. The repairs are actual minimal and hard to see. The front buttons have most of their original sewing, except for 2 resewn ones. The rear skirt has a couple resewn. The owner added a bottom front closure loop and button farther down, so that the jacket would not blow open. Inside lining is made from tropical shirt material. It is depot marked and dated (B41 for Berlin 1941) and size stamped. The size is about a 38/40 US. Very nice example of an extremely rare piece of tropical clothing. Most were left in Afrika or worn in prison camps. Nearly impossible to find today. $2500

2.German WW2 Army M41 tunic is good, solid used condition. Breast eagle has been resewn on, but looks nice and matches the wear of the tunic. The collar tabs are gone, but I found a pair I will throw in for free. Buttons appear to be mostly original to the tunic, as well as the shoulder board buttons and loops. The collar was replaced by the soldier to give it the appearance of the M36. Actually, overall it's a really nice honest combat, worn-in-the-field tunic. There is a piece of the felt missing a the sides of the collar from wear and part of the lining was cut out, but I am sure it was done as an alteration for some reason. Size is about a US 38/39. If you want a reasonable tunic with a "been there" look, this is it. $1399

3.German
WWII army infantry officer's (leutnant) M36 style field
tunic (feldbluse). Really nice material that gives the tunic
a "field" grade combat look, but is very soft and obviously
private purchase. It also has the 42/43 color shade to it.
Buttons are nice and have a silver paint to them, but not
too bright. Nice hand embroidered collar tabs and shoulder
boards. Collar tabs appear to be a period replacement. Eagle
looks original to the tunic. Iron Cross 2nd class ribbon in
button hole. Interior is fully rayon lined and has the
dagger hanger and opening through the pocket for it. Size is
approx. US 38. Overall a beautiful and outstanding tunic of
this type, great for a front line officer display. Some
minor moth nips hear and there, but they are very small and
don't detract. About excellent. $1650

4.German WWII army hbt M43 summer trousers. Beautiful, slightly used example in a nice large size. Buttons are a mix of large DAF button, metal dish type and pressed paper, all are orginal to the pants. Waist fits up to about a 39" or 40". Interior is stamped with the size numbers, which are still mostly legible and also possibley the maker, which looks like "Anton Weber". Overall excellent plus, no damage, no staining, just light use. These are a perfect match for the M42 or M43 hbt tunic. Very, very tough to come by. Much rarer than the tunic, as these were worn as work pants after the war. Choice! $1399

5.WW2
German army tunic factory converted from a captured Dutch
army tunic. Mint, unissued perfect example. The Dutch tunic
has a 1940 maker date. It has had the collar, eagle,
shoulder board set up and boards, and lower pockets factory
added in Germany. Also it has belt hooks added. Buttons have
almost all their blue-green paint. Interior is also mint and
is marked "Ligo Hannover" for the factory rework. Size is
approx. a US 40. Very neat Heer tunic not often seen in this
condition. $1750.

6.German WWII police named feldbluse for a Verwaltungspolizei (Administration official) in the rank of Oberinspektor. This matches the 1942 regulation for the fieldblouse for Police batallions. It is in police green/blue cloth and is in the cut of the army officer's tunic. It has fieldgray buttons, french cuffs, collar in the same color as the tunic and a 6 button front. The insignia is remarkable, as it is subdued/matte and not bright aluminum like a standard officer's tunic. Even the hand embroidered police officer's eagle is subdued! This is the only one like this I have ever seen. The 3 place ribbon bar above the left pocket is original to the tunic and has the war merit cross 2nd class and the 10 and 15 year NSDAP (Nazi party) long service medal ribons. Interior is fully rayon lined and has the slot and hanger for the police officer's sword. The original collar liner is still in place. In the inside breast pocket is the December 1943 dated name tag, along with the owners rank and name. (possibley researchable?) The condition is excellent with light wear, a couple very light stains (look much worse in the photos than in person) and one small moth nip, a little bigger than a pin head. The size is approx. a US 40. I orginally owned this years ago and it was right out of a veteran aquired collection from a VFW hall years ago. (Visor cap and belt for display only, not included) Outstanding and rare tunic. $2750

7.WW2 German Luftwaffe winter (Sea) model KW s/34 in brown calfskin leather. Interior is fully lined in sheep skin/lamb fur. Diagonal zipper front, under collar snap with strap closure. Has pockets on the legs and also elbow pads. Pockets on the sides to reach into the clothing underneath. Zippers are marked WICO, others are unmarked. The quick release side is there and is done with a zipper. Tag is maker marked "Ostindustrie" and LBA 43. Overall excellent condition. There is some light surface rust on the snaps under the collar. Zippers all seem to work. Leather shows light wear from use, but is very nice. The suit is very heavy and must be very warm. Size is approx. a US large size. $1199 HOLD |

8.
German army M40 cavalry NCO tunic. Really nice example that
the cavalry NCO had tailored to look like the M36. He had
the collar covered in green badgecloth, he possibley had the
skirt taken up maybe an inch or so. He had the body tailored
to fit him and had the shoulder boards sewn in. He also had
an interior pocket added and some re-inforcement to the
lining by the front belt ramp holes and also a small area
above the stamping on the lining, in the front. One really
nice thing is that he had loops for a small ribbon bar and 2
badges, tailor added. Eagle and collar tabs look to be
original to it, at least to when the NCO had it altered., as
does the collar tresse. Tresse on the shoulder boards
matches it nicely. The wool has moderate nap wear, really
just from normal everyday wear. Stamping in the lining date
the tunic at 1941, also present are the size markings and
the maker appears on the first aid pocket. Tunic is about a
size 38 US. Excellent condition. $2500

9.German WWII army
cavalry M36 stone-gray issue cavalry breeches. Very scarce
example of the first style army issue breeches for mounted
personnel. These were produced until 1940, when the color
was changed to fieldgray. They are very scarce to find
because they had a wear-out date and old stocks were used
up. Waist size is 34". Condition is excellent with one small
pinhead size moth hole to the front and 2 nap wear areas to
the backside below the pocket. Stampings on the interior
lining for the size, manufacturer and "M37" for the depot
mark and date. Original owner , possibley an officer, has
his name marked inside also. Very nice, scarce pair, in
excellent condition. $799 HOLD

10.German
WWII Kriegsmarine engineering officer's reefer jacket. Nice,
untouched, named example, everything original to it.
Material is a heavy gaberdine. Insignia is the early bullion
type, consisting of a gorgeous hand embroidered officer's
breast eagle and engineering officer cogwheels on the cuffs.
Cuffs have 2 rank stripes for the rank of oberleutnant. Nice
early anchor buttons all look original to the tunic and have
the Reichsadler on the back. Nice pointed lapels. Tunic is
fully lined and has a name tag, dating it October 1935 (I
think) from a tailor in Flensburg. The officer was an
officer candidate (fähnrich) when he bought the tunic,
according to the tag. The tunic has a period repair to the
inside of the collar. There are about 6 or 7 holes or wear
spots on the tunic, the most noticable being a hole above
the eagle. If you wanted to repair these, it would probably
be pretty easy, but I don't think neccesary. Looks really
nice overall. Size is approx, a 38 to 40 US. These officer
reefer jackets are very hard to find anymore, especially
untouched examples. $1850

11.German
WWII army M44 model cavalry breeches in unissued condition.
Outstanding example done in the M44 cut, in Italian
gaberdine cloth. Has the leather re-inforced seat worn by
mounted units. The nice thing about this one is that it
still has the scarce original web style belt attatched by
stitches. On the interior it is size marked, dated 1944 and
RB numbered. Waist measures approx. 34". Gorgeous, choice
example! $1050 HOLD

12.German WWII Allgemeine-SS black service breeches. Hard to find pair, and an early example, partially marked with the stamping used by the SSVT. The pants have belt loops and buttons for suspenders and are the less flared variety. Buttons appear to be all present and look to be all original to them. Has side waist adjustment straps. Interior lining has a pen ink stain and also the RZM tag is on the back of the pocket lining. Located in the rear of the lining is the SSVT stamp, which appears to be "1936", but is hard to read, and you can also see the original size stamps barely visible there. Some of the buttons are left over DAF style, but are original to the breeches and were often used. Overall they look nice, but they do have some small repaired holes here and there, which are tough to see. Waist size is nice, about a 34". If you don't need a mint set, these will do the job. Overall very good. Scarce. $750

13.German WWII army tropical olive and lighter olive cotton shirt. Really nice, unissued example, in outstanding condition, fresh as it was from the factory. This is a scarce variant with no pockets on the front. Interesting that other than the lack of front pockets, it is a textbook standard issue tropical shirt. The buttons are clear bakelite or glass. Under the collar is the original cardboard stiffener from the factory. Rear of collar is size marked and has numbers probably pertaining to the manufacurer, it reads "0/1342 37". Actual size in the chest is 44", but it is made to be worn baggy, so it's maybe a US 40. Other than a faded crease line on the center, it is perfect. Outstanding example in mint condition, ideal for under a tropical tunic. Choice! $799

14.German
WWII "Der Stahlhelmbund" tunic. A scarce uniform I have not
encountered before. Most of the ones I have encountered have
not had insignia. THis beauty is black and white piped
around the collar and has a shoulder board in the same
color. The collar tab and the shoulder board underlay are
brown. All the fieldgray buttons are original to it and bear
the bear the German helmet with "Der Stahlhelm" written on
it. The armband was removed at some time and replaced,
during which it suffered a little damage to the inner arm,
which you can not see when displayed. The armband is also
stamped to "Der Stahlhelm" and possibley "II Sturmverband"?
The interior of the jacket is nicely lined and looks to be
very lightly if ever worn. There is a set of loops for one
badge below the left pocket. The tunic is for a very large
man, about a US 44 or 46. There are cloth loops to hold the
brown leather belt underneath the arms at the waist. The
material is a very nice fieldgray trikot wool. Near mint.

15.German
WWII Luftwaffe or army water pattern winter camoflage pants.
Padded style to be worn over the standard uniform. Pants are
maybe slightly used, but have storage wear. They also have
what I believe to be an error in the printing, making them
look worn, but it is a lack of print. Inside is all Luftwaffe
rayon lined. Waist is up to 44", but again, it's made to be
worn over the uniform. Has the wooden toggle buttons for
suspenders. Large blue glass buttons for the fly and
pockets. Decent original example. $899

16.German WW2 NSKK enlisted mans' uniform. Three pieces-tunic, breeches and overseas cap. Beautiful RZM marked, nearly unissued tunic from one of the NSKK schools. Cut is a rarer variation with the lower pockets being the slash type. Right arm has a factory machine applied silver bevo NSKK national emblem on a brown wool backing. Collar tabs are factory machine applied, right tab bears the number "2" and left one is blank. I think possibley the "2", combined with the emerald green shoulderboard piping denotes Motorgruppe Leipzig. Of course, it could also be a school number or have some other designation. Shoulder board is hand sewn on and is for the enlisted ranks. Left arm has the standard NSDAP armband Interior is spotless with standard fieldblouse type lining, with belt ramps. RZM tag denotes "Feldbluse aus Tuch", which is "Fieldblouse made of cloth". Size stamp on lining is "48". Size is about a US 40, so it's very nice. Buttons are RZM marked also. Included in the group also is a pair of black corderoy boot breeches, private purchase type. Buttons are "Deutsche Mode" and the rest are black plastic, one replaced. Waist is about 33". Excellent condition. Overseas cap also included with matching district triangle to the tunic's shoulder board. Cap is used, but in very nice condition. Has the 2 NSKK buttons to the front. On the side is the NSKK bevo triangle with green backing. Interior has the man's name and unit. RZM tag is there, but it washed out. Size is about 55 or 56. Nice set. $1595

17.German WWII SA (Sturm-abteilung or storm troops (brown shirts) Reiter schule (Riding school) tunic. Very unique jacket attributed to the Reiter Schule der SA. Color is SA brown wool with a lighter brown collar, which gives the tunic a very "English" riding jacket look. Tunic is "rock" cut with the rear belt hooks removed, probably were unnecassary, as the tunic looks to have been used, just like this, strictly for riding. Pebbled buttons are painted brown, hidden closure buttons are bakelite and painted brown. Interior is a brown cotton, stamped with the maker and size numbers. Tunic is also stamped property of the SA Riding School. The piece is overall in very nice condition, with general wear from daily use. I think this tunic may have come through the Ed Stadnicki collection to the person I bought it from. I have never seen another. Very rare. $1499

18.German WW2
Kriegsmarine named officer mess dress uniform. Consists of
jacket, vest and matching trousers, all named to
Kapitän zur See Wilhelm Barr. All have tags from the
officer-kleiderkasse (officer's store) of the Kriegsmarine
and are dated 1937, when he was a Korvettenkapitän and
the rank stripes are correct for this. All pieces are in
excellent condition, the pants having the most wear, but are
still outstanding. Material on all 3 is doe-skin. Four
buttons on the jacket and the vest buttons have been
replaced, but the original thread is still there. The eagle
has also be re-attached, but it is very hard to tell. On the
right breast are loops for an award, possibley the Galippoli
Star, he was a Leutnant zur See during the first World War.
During WW2 he held various positions, Flak commander for
group Lorient, Stab Kom. with Admiral Adria area. Some years
ago, I got this uniform, his reefer jacket and pants,
greatcoat and his tropical uniform all from his estate. This
is the last one I have been holding on to. Tunic is about a
US 40. Nice named grouping. $1500

ends at the cuffs. These are missing from the ankles and the
cord from the back is missing. There are tags inside, but
they have worn out and are unreadable. Condition is very

21.German
WWII army M43 greatcoat in Italian gaberdine, unissued with
original factory tag. Superb example manufactured from the
highly desirable gray-green Italian gaberdine. The example
came from a veteran in the Philadelphia area. About a year
or so ago, I had 2 M43 unissued tunics from the same source,
one with the tag. The interior of the coat is army tropical
material and the sleeves are lined in grayish rayon. The
interior is size stamped and RB numbered. What is the nice
is that the manufacturer's paper tag list s them as a
factory in Mainz, thus identifying the RB number. Buttons
are the post 43 dark blue-gray style that is common. All the
glass buttons for the rear slit are present. One of the
bottom buttons on the front was missing the head, which I
replaced with a decent matching example. (I didn't replace
the button, just the top). Condition overall is near mint
with just slight storage wear. The size is approx. a US 40.

23. German WW2 Luftwaffe paratroopers jump smock in splinter pattern camouflage. Neat US GI bringback example that he used as a hunting coat! The zippers are the metal "DRP RiRi" type and one has the leather pull tab still on it. The inner wind cuffs are rayon and in perfect condition. Snaps are all "Prym 6" marked. Flare gun pouch is present, except for the cup at the bottom. Inner waist adjustment tie strings complete and perfect. Size marked and RB numbered on the lining. The collar is the earlier grun-meliert with splinter printed on top of it. The lining is made from various pieces of material- rayon, tropical, splinter on HBT, etc. The smock itself is really in near mint condition. The GI who brought it back had the very bottom part cut off where it snaps around the legs. He also removed the breat eagle. This could be replaced and the small hole there would be covered. The bottom where it was cut has been zig-zag sewn on the edge. There is a crease 3" up where it was folded and sewn shorter. I took the hem out, which now goes below the interior hip pocket bags on the inside. If you don't want to pay $15k + for a perfect one, this one is really nice, the colors are bright and perfect and it looks superb on a mannequin. Perfect for a fallschirmjäger or even a Luftwaffe field division soldier. Outstanding! $6,500 HOLD

25.German WW2 Mercedes Benz drivers' complete uniform, probably for a factory truck driver. Extremely rare uniform I once owned that I am glad to offer again. Uniform includes visor cap, tunic and breeches in black/white speckled material used by civilian drivers during the Third Reich. This particular uniform is done in the cut of the Reichsbahn uniform and exhibits collar tabs similar to the Reichsbahn, but in silver. The shoulder boards are the same color as the uniform, but are piped in black. The collar is a smooth black and the tabs are backed in black velvet. The tunic is piped down the front in black. Buttons are pebbled silver. On the left breast pocket in an original 30s/40s Mercedes Benz logo stickpin. On the left sleeve is a white and red machine embroidered on black, specialty patch for a truck driver. (a rare patch itself, I have never seen it before) It is zig zag machine sewn to the tunic. Tunic is about a US size 40. Included are the matching breeches, which have loops for a belt, buttons for suspenders and also adjustment buckles on the sides. Watch pocket is there. Waist size is about up to 40". I have saved the best for last, the visor cap. It is done in matching black/white speckled whipcord wool. It has a beautiful high peak in the front. The band is oakleaf embroidered. The visor is the Luftwaffe style with the oilcloth covered edge. The chinstrap is leather with oval buckles. On the front is the Mercedes Benz logo, with their name and oakleaves. The patch in machine embroidered in white and red on black! (I'll bet they haven't used those colors since the fall of the Reich!). Interior of the cap is a silver rayon with clear small celluloid diamond and alkor sweatband. Size is about a 56. One of a kind, unique. Interesting to note that the cap is similar to the civilian driver cap for the army, described on page 41 of "Headgear of Hitler's Germany" vol1, by Halcomb & Saris. Whole uniform at the price of the what the cap or tunic is worth! $2499

30.German
WWII Luftwaffe Helferin jacket and skirt. You don't see
these for sale often. This example is the "kostümjacke"
for a Ln.-Helferin (Luftwaffe Nachrichten). She was a
"blitzmadel" or signals communication helper, as denoted by
the lightning bolt patch. The chevron is the "Ln-helferin"
rank patch. The jacket itself is made of a very fine
blue-gray material. The eagle is hand embroidered cotton
over a template and is the first like it that I have seen.
It is beautiful and very detailed. It is factory machine
sewn to the jacket. Interior is lined in silver rayon. The
helferin has stitched her name into the lining. On the
inside pocket, the factory tag is sewn in. The jacket is
complete with the button-on cloth belt in the rear. Buttons
are all original to it, but I think maybe 2 or 3 have been
resewn by the woman. The skirt is made of a slightly
different material, more of a standard officer grade
blue-gray trikot (gaberdine). It has a side zipper, not tags
or markings. Extremely scarce uniform, only the second one I

32.German WWII army guard coat (wachmantel), well actualy a surcoat as a guard coat. This was to be worn over the greatcoat for added warmth for soldiers that had to do sentry duty or even drive open wagons during the winter. Also has a built-in hood that hangs inside when not in use. Wool is similar to an M43 tunic in color. Size is about a US 48, but is made to go over the greatcoat. Really nice example, overall exc+/near mint. $499 HOLD |

33.German WWII army Gebirgsjäger (mountain troops) anorak. These were later issued to other types of troops. Nice example from a veteran's estate sale here in the US. Looks like it may have been unissued or only slighly used when he found it. It is a dark reed green, reversible to white and still has the leg strap. All buttons, cords and straps are present. Cuff straps are cloth with metal buckles, pressed paper buttons are white on one side, dark grey-brown on the other. White side has a factory waterproof coating. String to lace up the necka nd also string for the hood are present. Only real detraction is a paint spot on the lower right side, not nearly as obvious in person, as it is in my photos. Nicely maker marked, and depot/date marked M/43 for Munich 1943. Size is about a 40 US. Also has buttons on the sleeves for the identification armband. Overall Excellent+. $799 |

Snaps are prym, cuff zippers are late-war plastic "Riri" type. Front zipper is post-war replaced with a modern zipper, but is not noticable for display. The inner wind cuffs and collar closures are all present. All zippers work. The jacket is RB numbered on one of the cloth adjustment straps for the waist. Size is about a US 40. The interior near the neck needs to have a small seam repair on the lamb's wool lining. Exterior is nice, with just minor soiling, mostly from storage. 35.German WWII Luftwaffe enlisted/nco early greatcoat. Superb 1939 dated example that was never issued. Originally had flak collar tabs factory applied, but never had shoulder boards. Nice pebbled aluminum buttons that were worn pre-1940. Inside lining is well marked with LBA 39, a Berlin maker and the size markings. Overall near mint, just a few light moth nips that are hard to see. Even has a cloth manufacturer stamp on the bottom of the inside. Size is about a US 36. SOLD

36.German WWII Prison official's uniform tunic. Superb tailor made example that is named and dated 1939, tailor is from Stuttgart. Material is high quality fieldgray trikot. Collar and cuffs are piped in carmine. Collar tabs are machine sewn and boards are tailor sewn in. Interior is fully lined in satin and has the slot for the dagger hanger. The cloth for the hanger is there, but the actual clip is missing (easy to replace). The original collar liner is in place. Size is approx. a US 38. There are tailor made loops for a long ribbon bar and also one badge. There are more loops for another badge, but they were added later and go through the lining, so tough to determine when they were added. Condition is excellent+. Extremely nice example of this type tunic. $1199

condition and is only lightly used. The original owner
removed the rear belt. Color is a light shade of sage green.
Interior is size marked and also manufacturer marked "K.M.F.

light to read. Only real detraction is some of the buttons

41.German WWII Kriegsmarine officer's shirts. I aquired these with a grouping of various KM officer items out of a house in Germany. This is the first time I've seen these available. Most were used after the war and were worn out and discarded. The first one is the formal shirt for use with the Mess Dress. It has a pleated front, long length, removable starched collar and uses cuff links (not included). It is in very nice condition, but is missing the llittle buttons that button the collar to the shirt. Excellent condition. (I have a seconf formal shirt with a 1" tear at shoulder seem, but otherwise very nice-$200-SALE! $125) The second shirt (SOLD)is the service shirt, worn with the reefer jacket. It has a removable collar (needs the little buttons), cuffs that use cufflinks, long length and partially buttoning front. Has name label sewn to front. Excellent condition. The shirts are all a normal medium size. SOLD

42.German WWII army assault gun (sturmgeschutz) pants. Nice later wartime example in a heavy wool, similar to dutch wool, but more fieldgray in color. Very nice quality. This pair is interesting in that is has been period enlarged in the waist by having extra cloth added to each side by a very professional tailor. The added wool looks like blue-gray, possibley luftwaffe material. Buttons are the nicer, earlier style and are all present and original to the pants. Ankle closure strings are intact and perfect. Interior is the standard white cotton type material and is RB numbered, size marked and dated 1943. Internal web belt is present and original to the pants. Pants are in overall near mint condition and don't look to have been issued, but maybe they were and were only worn once or twice. Waist measures 37 or 38 inches. Choice pair, priced resonably. $2650

44.German WWII Kriegsmarine officer's named pea coat, tailor cut down from a frock coat. Superb custom made coat, where the officer removed the cuff tresse and had the skirt shortened, basically to the length of a reefer jacket. However, he left the beautiful early bullion officer's eagle on it, which has never been touched! The cuffs each have crossed cannons for ordnance officer. The shoulder boards are for Leutnant zur See and also have the ordnance cannon devices. Interior is fully lined and has a tailor label for a firm in Kiel. This matches the name tag in the pocket, tunic is named and dated 1939. Looks to possibley have had some awards loops that were removed. Nice size, about a 39" US. Overall excellent to near mint condition. Very nice, recently out of a house in Germany. $1350

well used. Interior is size and maker marked. Tough to find.
