1. Interesting German ww2 IG Farben company thread sample booklet. Includes a 6 page booklet that appears to reference colorization of wool and man made fibers or silk. The main part consists of 22 thread sample and one swatch- including thread that is silk, wool, and a few man made silks. Each one exhibits a different color or dye. Highly interesting overall, especially for the German uniform/headgear or insignia collector. IG Farben was implicated in war crimes because of having a large production facility near the Auschwitz concentration camp that used forced labor and also being partner in the production of Zyklon B, the gas that was used in the death camps. Overall the booklet shows age, but is near excellent and a great reference piece. From my personal collection. $175 NEW

Goes into the items included in each of these uniforms in a fair amount of detail. Great reference or Kriegmarine collectible, espec. for the uniform collector. $199 NEW 3. Panzer private purchase tactics manual. 1940 dated publication, 96 pages. Covers various strategies with many drawing, that a tank soldier will need when facing the enemy in the field. Explains how to lay out your tanks in a field, how to travel on a road, in a forest, in high grass, etc, for maximum protection. How to fight multiple enemy tanks, how to watch enemy aircraft, how to travel leaving less of a footprint and less of a profile, how to attack and enemy foxhole, etc. A lot of good information, great for a panzer or armored warfare researcher. Exc-near mint. $175 NEW
4.Wehrmacht pioneer (combat engineer) branch manual for use by all service, designation H.Dv. 220/4. This is part 4 of the 1935 manual set and covers demolition, charges, pioneer tool set, proper places to plant charges on supports, bridges, houses, trees, rail lines, etc. Good section on traps, road blocking, tank traps, barbed wire, etc. Also shows how to make an improvised grenade or explosive dev. from a milk can, wine bottle, etc. Back of book shows different calculation tables, most likely for amount of explosives, distance, etc. 435 pages total, so it's a pretty large book. Cover has a small hole in it, otherwise book is near excellent. Great reference for the researcher or pioneer service collector. $110 NEW

Named to an Obergefreiter. Excellent+. $65 NEW
6.German WWII Waffen-SS recruiting poster. Near mint example of the famous poster used in various countries to encourage foreign volunteers to join the Waffen-SS. This type was generic and not country specific, therefore the adress of the local recruiting office could be stamped on the orange band at the bottom. Great shot of SS member in mountain cap and also SS troops in combat wearing camouflage. Measures 64cm x 42cm. Has light wear an age from storage, but overall excellent to near mint. Tough to find. $975
7.WW2
Vichy French portrait of collaborationist leader of France
Petain. Portrait is the size of a small post, 14 1/2" x 11".
It has a different stamp of Petain in each corner,
postmarked 1941. Neat propaganda piece that did not work on
the French populace, as most thought of him as a traitor. He
died in 1951, after he had been confined for life by General
Charles De Gaulle. Slight wear, nice overall.

army ww2 photo album. This album is interesting and appears
to be a country guy from Austria, in the German army, sent
to Russia. His jobs seem to include working with
transport/supply, using clydesdales, working with the
railway line (supply line?) and also guarding airplanes and
bombs at the airfield , in Russia. There are shots of a
funeral in the field, German soldiers using jackhammers,
guarding very large bombs on a sled, downed Russian fighter
plane, German bombers, digging large trench graves to put
coffins in, etc. There are just over 100 photos, about 15 or
so are postcards. Many great shots in this album. Album is
kind of sloppy, like the guy put it together in his old age.
