Scarce gas mask bags.

A)Austrian 1936 marked gas mask bag. Maker marked, dated and army acceptence marked inside. Has carry strap and appears complete. Excellent condition with a couple areas of light soiling. $220

B)Reichsheer model 24 gas mask bag. Decent example, maker marked "C.Pose A.G Berlin" and dated 1929. Material is a rugged feldgrau canvas with gray leather parts. Has belt loop on back and shoulder strap. Used, but not abused condition. A couple of the grommets for water draining on the bottom, as missing, but otherwise complete. During WW2, the Wehrmacht re-issued these to second line troops and flak batteries, etc. Not often seen. $275

51.Wehrmacht issue cavalry boots. This is a really cool pair that I believe belonged to a nco or officer. Whoever owned them was probably a career cavalry officer. He took a standard issue pair of wehrmacht cavalary boots and modified the tops by adding a flap and buckle closures to imitate private purchase officer riding boots. Also, they were slightly cut shirter at the top, which is hard to notice, as these were made from a variation that normally taller than a cavalry boot. This really gives them the look of a frontline officer. Size is approx. a US 9 1/2 or 10, Wehrmacht size is marked "27 1/2". They were worn, but were very well taken are of and the leather condition is beautiful, strong and supple. Great pair for the cavalry collector or for any officer or NCO. $725

52.Wehrmacht Richtkreis 31 with transportation box. It was used in aiming for artillery, etc, for indirect fire. This one is incomplete and does not have the central optics. Basically, its the cradle with the mount for the tripod. Both have matching serial numbers and are made by Hensold Wetzlar. Decent combat used example, far from mint condition. Container is nice, it's very sturdy and is waffenamt marked and "jsv" manufacturer marked. I can't find the date, but looks about 1938-1940. Decent example of a nice piece of field equipment. $375

German WWII large cased wehrmacht map plotting instrument. Large wooden case measures 32 1/2" long. Case and instrument are both waffenampted and maker marked "Gebr. Wichmann". Has different markings for different scale maps. Not sure the exact use, possibley to draw a map to scale. Looks complete. Neat large scale map instrument. $595

German WW2 army/luft/wss "issue" jackboots. These are perfectly mint and unissued. They are a German military size 27 1/2, which is approx. an 9 1/2 US The sole is 11 1/4" long. At first, I thought these were cavalry boots because of the height of the shaft, but I think they are probably early jackboots, possibley for an NCO. Leather is perfect and of the highest quality, the absolute best I have seen, and very supple.. The soles are well marked and have never had the hobnails applied. Soles are size marked and heel irons are marked size "20". No date I can find, but they are obviously early, probably pulled right out of the factory. Absolutely the best $1250

SALE $1100

*FINAL SALE $950*

55. Wehrmacht combat harness "y-straps", RB numbered and 1944 dated Really nice late-war example, well marked and in great shape. Has the late-war varient metal "hook" for the backstrap, which is desirable. Though I can't make it out, the soldier's name is on the inside of the straps. Metal pieces are very nice. One small piece of leather that makes a "T" missing from one of the bottoms of the front straps, but doesn't detract and really isn't used. This is a great late war combat harness.SOLD

56. German WW2 army pioneer (combat engineer) explosives kit bag. Nice near mint/unissued example of this type bag used to carry at least (2) 3kg explosive charge blocks and other charges. Bag is made of light canvas and has webbing type straps. Inside flap is RB numbered. Metal hardware has much of it's original paint, buckles are perfect, some marked "LUX". Snaps are late war and unmarked one has a little damage. Original strap is missing, so I've added a breadbag strap to complete it. (works fine, never seen the original strap for this type bag, except in photos) Inside the bag, in the back there seems to be a divider wall missing, perhaps to break it into 2 pockets. Anyway, very nice piece in excellent to near mint condition. Nice, harder to find piece of pioneer fieldgear. SOLD

57.German Kriegsmarine blc code (Zeiss) U-Boat 7x50 binoculars. Great set of these scarce U-boat (German submarine) issued binoculars in textbook sea-green paint with rubber armored endcaps and eye pieces. Paint is very nice with just normal wear from use, overall about 85% present. Rubber is very nice considering the age of these, few cracks, but solid overall. Strap is a replacement. Optics are clear, but I guess that is a judgement call. To me they are and work very well, though the left optic is a little foggy, but the lenses have never been cleaned. Excellent example. SOLD
